After what has seemed like a long time, Monday Night Raw delivers with an episode that keeps you entertained throughout all three hours. It’s not easy to keep someone’s attention for a full three hours, but this Raw had storyline development along with great in-ring action. This is a perfect mix we usually don’t see week in and week out. If you have this episode DVRed I suggest giving it a watch. If not, or you just don’t have the time, welcome to the Crash Course Wrestling Column. Let’s get to it.
Here we are, Survivor Series has come and gone with fans asking, “did it really matter?” We are now on the Road to Clash of Champions for Smackdown which is weeks away and the next “Raw Pay-Per-View” is the dual branded Royal Rumble over a month away. This could mean a lot happening on the weekly shows OR a huge holding pattern. After being a fan for over 15 years, I am afraid it may be the latter. Lets get to it.
Happy Thanksgiving week to all and the Thanksgiving Pay-Per-View event, Survivor Series has come and gone. With the brand rivalry over and Raw picking up the duke, where do the Red and Blue brand go this week? Lets get to it.
Raw and Smackdown went head to head for brand supremacy last Sunday. With every match being Raw vs. Smackdown which brand came out superior above the other? Lets get to it.
Are you sick of hearing the line: “It is the one night a year that Raw and Smackdown go head to head in competition”? Well I have some good and bad news. Usually I would tell you the bad news first, but in this case, I will start with the good news. This Sunday is Survivor Series and it will be the last time you will hear that line. However, the bad news is, you will have to hear it for five hours straight this Sunday at Survivor Series. Please don’t drink everytime Cole says that, I like you and don’t want you to die. How did the red and blue brand get us excited for this Sunday’s duel branded show? Did Raw finally grow a pair and retaliate for Smackdown’s actions three weeks ago? Lets get to it.
We are officially two weeks away from Survivor Series and with the red brand already “under siege”, how will the blue brand feel the retaliation? Will Kurt Angle learn to how to say Jinder MAHAL before the brand warfare comes to a head at Survivor Series. How did the blue and red brand hype themselves as we head toward “the one night a year Raw and Smackdown goes head-to-head”? Lets get to it.
We are still three weeks away from Survivor Series and with Monday Night Raw already #undersiege, how will the writers hold our attention to the red and blue brands for almost a month? There are many sick and injured superstars that still need to be added to the mix for this year’s Survivor Series. Will they return in time and if they do, how will they play into the Raw versus Smackdown storyline? Lets get to it.
We are 24 hours removed from the 2017 Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Pay-Per-View and now the red and blue brand barrel full steam ahead toward Survivor Series. With Raw versus Smackdown being a heavily promoted theme for this year’s Survivor Series, what can we expect on Monday and Tuesday nights for the next four weeks? Lets get to it.
In honor of Kurt Angle, here is a dad joke. I would like you to know that I can 100% confirm that you will not get meningitis from reading this post. With Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt catching the meningitis bug this weekend, WWE was forced to change their plans. How did these changes affect this past Sunday’s TLC Pay-Per-View? Well, that is a loaded question. If you have ever played a 2k WWE game and simulated the Universe Mode for a year, it kind of looked like the end result of that. Lets get to it.
We are one week away from the Raw exclusive Pay-Per-View Tables, Ladders, and Chairs and one step closer to the duel branded Pay-Per-View Survivor Series. What does the red brand have in store to finally get you to sign up for your 30 day free trial? What does the blue brand have in store to get you to continue to pay $9.99 a month for Survivor Series? Lets get to it.
